Tukker Experience in Enschede

ENSCHEDE/BRISBANE - Not only the Dutch move to Australia to enjoy the great life style (and continue to support the Reds), some Aussies move to Holland and start supporting FC Twente. One example is Claudio.
Tukkeroos.net: Claudio can you tell us something about your Tukker Experience??
Claudio: Well where do you start? I am a soccer fan from youth growing up on the Gold Coast and lived in England for 5 years making the most of my time there to watch plenty of football. And I can honestly say the atmosphere at our stadion is truly the best I have seen and I'm talking World Cup, UEFA Cup: everything. The game against Schalke at home was especially memorable. When do you see fans singing each others songs!!
Went to my first "uitwedstrijd" in Holland against Heerenveen on Saturday. Ok not the best result but a good result considering we were missing a few key players, but the atmosphere was again brilliant!!! You guys are not big fans of the combi tickets, as you can't take alcohol on the bus, but after smuggling a small brewery worth of booze onto the bus, we had a great trip up north, being the first bus to the ground the 'jongens' decided to show their dislike for the combi by singing anti- combi!! And rocking the bus for ten minutes!! But as always with the boys it was all in good spirit and all the police and stewards just let us get it off our chest. Definitely not the best game of football but I did not hear one of the 20 odd thousand Heerenveen supporters due to we the 500 odd Twente fans doing what they do best, supporting the boys!!!
I could go on and on about my Twente experience in the year I've been here. (the beker semifinal was awesome!!!) I have been especially lucky as I play football with a great bunch of Twente fans and through them met even more fans.
Best regards to you all in the land down under and if anyone is visiting home be sure to look me up for a beer!

Best regards Claudio.
